Flog — Film Log
By downloading or using Flog ("Flog", "the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Flog is developed and distributed by Contrast Studio LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Flog is a logging app for film photographers. It helps you record each frame as you shoot it — camera, lens, film stock, location, light, and exposure metadata, with an in-app reference snap — then import your developed scans later and reconcile them with the frames you logged.
Flog is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not develop, scan, or store your film, and it makes no guarantee about the accuracy of any metadata you enter or that the app derives.
Flog is free to download and use. You can log rolls and frames, capture reference snaps, build your camera and lens gear, import and reconcile scans, browse your archive, and export your frames.
The free tier lets you keep one active roll in progress at a time. Flog Pro removes that limit, so you can load and shoot unlimited rolls in flight. The exact set of Pro features may change over time.
Flog Pro is sold as a one-time, lifetime in-app purchase through the App Store. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their standard policies, which you can find in the App Store. We do not issue refunds directly.
Everything you log in Flog — your photos, scans, notes, and metadata — is yours. It is stored on your device. We claim no ownership of your content and have no access to it. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; we are not liable for any loss of your data.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Flog on any Apple device you own or control, subject to these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Flog and all associated content, design, code, and branding are the property of Contrast Studio LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of any part of the app.
Flog is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any metadata, location, weather, or scan matching will be accurate for any specific use case.
You assume full responsibility for how you use the app and the information it provides.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, lost frames, or missed shots.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without notice. We are not obligated to provide updates, support, or continued availability of any feature. Continued availability of any feature is subject to App Store availability and platform compatibility.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
